Delta announced nonstop service between Los Angeles (LAX) and Manila (MNL) starting March 28, 2027. It’s Delta’s first nonstop to the Philippines, and it makes Delta the only U.S. carrier flying LAX-Manila directly. Delta has already loaded SkyMiles award space for the route, and it’s wide open right now. Delta also brought back Beyond The Summer, a set of SkyMiles bonus offers with a fast-approaching deadline, more on that further down.

Finnair Plus Avios Calculator: See What You Could Earn

Finnair Plus does not use the same earning rule for every activity. Finnair flights mostly use eligible spend, while partner flights usually use distance and booking class. Cards, transfers, and leisure flights have their own rules.

American Airlines Launches Summer 2026 Award Sale

American Airlines has launched a fresh AAdvantage award sale, and the transatlantic pricing is the part worth paying attention to. You can fly one-way to Europe from 21,000 miles, and book the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America from 9,000 miles one-way. Reservations have to be made by July 7, 2026, for travel between August 1 and September 30. That puts late-summer beaches and a shoulder-season Europe trip squarely in range.

American Airlines 777-300ER Flagship First Review (2026): Buenos Aires to New York

American’s Flagship First is one of the last “true First Class” cabins you can still find on a US airline, and it only flies on the Boeing 777-300ERs in the fleet. With American now refreshing its long-haul cabins (the new Flagship Suites replace First Class altogether), I wanted to try it before it disappears forever, and Buenos Aires to New York is one of the few routes where you can still book it!
