For nearly two years, the SkyTeam Premium Economy chart existed on paper but you couldn’t actually book those seats online with EuroBonus points. That appears to have quietly changed this week. Now, Premium Economy award bookings on SkyTeam partners are live, starting with three carriers (SAS, Virgin Atlantic, and Delta). SAS has not yet issued an official confirmation, but we’ve been watching the availability show up on AwardFares for days, and there’s enough here to call out some genuine sweet spots worth chasing before more members notice.

Air France’s new Paris–Charles de Gaulle to Las Vegas nonstop took off on April 15, 2026, making it the first direct service between the French capital and Sin City. The route runs seasonally through October 24, 2026, with 3 weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, operated by the A350-900 with Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins.

United announced a new tiered fare structure for its premium cabins. Starting this month in select markets, Polaris and Premium Plus tickets come in three versions: base, standard, and flexible. Think of it as the “basic economy” playbook applied to Business Class.

Flying Blue is replacing its complicated multi-bucket expiration system with a single rule. Starting May 4, 2026, all your miles share the same 24-month clock, and any earning activity, whether a flight, a credit card transfer, or a partner purchase, resets that clock on your entire balance. It’s a quiet but meaningful improvement: fewer members will lose miles to expiration accounting, and planning a redemption gets a lot simpler.

April brings some big moves for EuroBonus members. TAP Air Portugal awards are now fully bookable with EuroBonus points, opening up great routes through Lisbon (including Madeira at just 48K in Business). There’s a 30% points discount on European destinations running right now (book by April 19), and a new E.ON Drive partnership that lets you earn points every time you charge an EV. SAS is also celebrating its 80th anniversary with a special livery A330, and was just named the world’s most punctual airline for March.

United just dropped three announcements in a single week, and together they represent the biggest upgrade to the airline’s premium product in years.
