Rove Adds an App, Dining, and a 40% Copa Transfer Bonus
Rove has added more ways to earn miles and another place to use them. Its August 28 update introduced the app, dining, gift cards, and changes to hotel booking. On September 1, Copa Airlines ConnectMiles joined as a transfer partner with a 40% launch bonus through September 30, 2026.
Atmos Rewards September Deals and Alaska's New Europe Routes
Atmos Rewards has six destinations on offer for September’s Members Day, while Alaska Airlines is adding nonstop flights from Seattle to Athens and Paris next spring. There is also a new Main Cabin menu from September 2.
Book Condor With Qantas Points: Routes, Prices, and Seats
You can now use Qantas Points to book Condor flights. The partnership, announced on September 1, adds reward seats in Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class, including Condor’s A330neo with lie flat Business Class seats.
American Airlines' New 777 Flagship Suites and 2027 Routes
American Airlines is introducing Flagship Suites on the Boeing 777-300ER, starting with a flight from New York to Buenos Aires on September 2, 2026. Its 777 announcement also confirms the plan to stop selling Flagship First.
United's 2027 Expansion: 10 New Cities and A321XLR Routes
United announced its largest international expansion to date on August 25, plus a new app feature. The network expansion includes 10 cities that are new to United, three new routes to destinations already served by the airline, and the return of San Francisco-Tel Aviv. The first flights begin in March 2027.

Hawaiian Retires the 717 for the 737-800
Alaska Airlines just announced that Hawaiian’s Neighbor Island fleet is moving from the Boeing 717 to Hawaiian-branded Boeing 737-800s. The goal is to begin that change in 2028 (Alaska has not given an end date), with one Alaska-branded 737 flying alongside the 717s starting this October.
United May 2026: Houston-Caracas Returns, Peacock, Europe Routes
United Airlines announced a handful of routes and products in May 2026 that round out the airline’s summer push. The biggest news for travelers in the Americas is the return of nonstop Houston-Caracas service in August, after nearly nine years of suspension. On the product side, a dedicated Peacock channel joins the inflight entertainment lineup across 800+ aircraft. And the European summer routes United announced last October (Split, Bari, Glasgow, Santiago de Compostela) all started flying within the past three weeks.
