For as long as we can remember, SAS opened its EuroBonus award space ~330 days before departure. From recent searches, we now see that pushed out to roughly 361 days (about a month earlier than the old limit). I confirmed it across a few routes and dates in June 2026.

Updates for SAS EuroBonus Members (June 2026)
June is a busy month for EuroBonus members. SAS is selling rare points-only flights to Madeira for its 80th anniversary. On top of that, there are two new codeshares and a World Cup car rental offer worth up to 8,000 points. The 20% discount on Scandinavian awards and the SAS Holidays SUMMERDEAL deal have now closed, along with a few of May’s deals, and you will find them all at the end.

SAS Business Executive Card: First-Ever SAS Business Credit Card (Waitlist Open)
Here’s a new solution to one of the questions we get every day: how to earn points for business expenses. Today, SAS made a bold move and announced the SAS Executive Card, its first ever SAS-issued business credit card. The waitlist is open today in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark; the card itself launches fall 2026. It’s a Mastercard World Elite product aimed at Scandinavian SMEs, and on paper it sets the highest base earning rate in EuroBonus: 25 points per 100 SEK/NOK/DKK on all eligible spend.

SkyTeam Premium Economy Awards Are Now Bookable with EuroBonus (Virgin & Delta)
For nearly two years, the SkyTeam Premium Economy chart existed on paper but you couldn’t actually book those seats online with EuroBonus points. That appears to have quietly changed this week. Now, Premium Economy award bookings on SkyTeam partners are live, starting with three carriers (SAS, Virgin Atlantic, and Delta). SAS has not yet issued an official confirmation, but we’ve been watching the availability show up on AwardFares for days, and there’s enough here to call out some genuine sweet spots worth chasing before more members notice.

SAS EuroBonus Status Match 2026: Free for Finnair & airBaltic, Paid for British Airways
SAS is actively recruiting elite flyers into EuroBonus, and right now there are two separate status match campaigns running simultaneously. One is free, the other costs €39–€159. Both grant SkyTeam Elite or Elite Plus status across all 18 SkyTeam airlines, including Air France, KLM, Delta, Korean Air, and Virgin Atlantic. And both close by the end of March 2026.

SAS EuroBonus Devaluation: New Award Prices from December 2025
SAS has announced that it will be increasing the number of EuroBonus points required for award travel. These changes will take effect for all bookings made on or after December 1, 2025. The new pricing mainly affects premium cabin redemptions, specifically Business and Premium Economy on SAS long-haul flights and Business Class on many partner airlines. The good news is that you can still book at the current, lower rates until the deadline.

SAS Amex Cards Announce 2026 Fee Increases & Rule Changes
