• Checked Baggage Policy Update: For tickets purchased on or after May 28, 2025, Southwest will implement changes to its checked baggage policy:
  • A-List Preferred Members and Business Select Customers: Continue to receive two free checked bags.
  • A-List Members and other select Customers: Receive one free checked bag.
  • Other Customers: Will be charged for checked bags.
• Assigned Seating Implementation: Beginning July 25, 2024, Southwest transitioned from open seating to assigned seating options, including Premium, Preferred, and Standard seats.
