We’re excited to announce our newest partnership with AwardHack, a toolkit built for exactly the kind of traveler who uses AwardFares.
Finding available seats with AwardFares is only part of the work. As a frequent traveler, you also need to track how many miles or points you have and when they expire, understand what different routes should cost, and keep track of your credit card benefits, among many other things. Doing that well has always meant spreadsheets and multiple browser tabs.
That’s the gap AwardHack fills, and it’s why we think this partnership is a perfect fit for our members. Starting today, and for a limited time, AwardFares members get AwardHack Pro at an exclusive rate: free for 3 months on Diamond, half price on Gold.
Key Takeaways
- AwardFares members get AwardHack Pro at an exclusive rate. Gold members pay $4.99/mo for 3 months, Diamond members get it free for 3 months, then $9.99/mo, cancel anytime.
- AwardHack is the ultimate “rewards operating system”, with 50+ tools that price award flights across 20+ programs and track your points, benefits, certificates, and cards.
- Why it’s a killer combo: AwardHack tells you what a route should cost and how to pay for it. AwardFares tells you whether the seat is actually there, live and bookable.
- Claim by 30 September 2026 at awardfares.com/awardhack.

What Is AwardHack?
AwardHack is aiming to be “The Operating System for Your Rewards”: a collection of 50+ calculators, trackers, and maps that manage the parts of award travel that happen around the flight search.
What a route should cost in miles. How many points you have and what they’re worth. How to move them between programs (and take advantage of the best offers). Which card to apply for next. Which credits, certificates and vouchers expire soon.

One design choice matters a lot for our audience: it’s fully manual by design, with no bank logins or integrations. You enter your balances and cards yourself, and your data stays yours. That’s the kind of privacy serious travelers expect.
There’s a free tier (public calculators and maps, with tracking limited to 2 items per tool) and AwardHack Pro, which removes the limits: unlimited tracking, unlimited Award Flight Pricer searches, the full Card Engine, live map refresh, priority support, and early access to new tools. Pro normally costs $9.99/mo, or $79.99/yr (about $6.66/mo).
AwardHack is not AwardHacker
AwardHacker was the old award-chart calculator that shut down in March 2026; AwardHack is a new, active platform. We covered the old tool (and why chart calculators differ from live search) in our AwardHacker guide.
Features We Already Love
AwardHack is a full toolkit with very handy features. These are the ones we are already loving at AwardFares.
Award Flight Pricer
AwardHack’s Award Flight Pricer answers a question every award traveler has asked: how many miles should this flight cost?
Different airlines charge very different amounts for the same seat, as we can clearly see with our redesigned flight list when performing a search across multiple programs in AwardFares:

This matters even more nowadays for programs with dynamic pricing, where the range of prices can vary drastically. It’s also extremely useful if you earn points on a credit card program that are transferrable to multiple airlines.
For example the same ANA Business Class seat from New York to Tokyo costs 50,000+ miles through ANA Mileage Club, 60,000 through Virgin Atlantic, 75,000 through Aeroplan, and 100,000 through United.
The Pricer compares 20+ programs, marks the sweet spots, and shows the taxes you can expect with each option.

For AwardFares members this is the natural first stop before a search: the Pricer tells you which programs to consider and what a fair price looks like, then AwardFares tells you when those seats are available to be booked.
Benefits Tracker
The points that pay for your award flights usually come from a travel credit card, and those cards only make sense if you use the credits that offset their annual fee. Most people don’t: the credits are small, spread across several cards, and they expire monthly or quarterly.
The Benefits Tracker lists every credit with the amount and days left, and the dashboard puts the urgent ones on top. On our account that was a $10 Lyft credit and a $20 DoorDash grocery credit on a Chase Sapphire Reserve, each with 30 days left. One click marks a perk as used.
It’s extremely simple to track your benefits: simply add the credit cards you have and when the account was opened (for the correct deadlines), and the tool will automatically populate the benefits for you.

The dashboard also shows your total portfolio value, and every annual fee coming up. If you’ve ever kept this in a spreadsheet, you know how much work that view replaces.
For users in the Nordics, AwardHack recently added support for SAS credit cards including Amex and Mastercard. You can add these cards and earning rates in different categories. In the upcoming weeks, more features will be rolled out around the EuroBonus ecosystem, so stay tuned to the news!

Transfer Tools
Transfers are where real money is saved or lost. Active Transfer Bonuses shows every bonus running right now (usually 20 to 30%). The AI Bonus Predictor estimates when one is likely to return, based on each partner pair’s history: for example, an 82% probability of a 30% Chase to Virgin Atlantic bonus in the next 60 days.
And Instant vs. Delayed tells you which transfers arrive immediately, because an award seat can disappear while your points are still in transit. If a bonus is running to the program your seat is priced in, the exact seat AwardFares just found becomes 20 to 30% cheaper.

Points Tracker & Valuation
AwardHack’s Points Tracker monitors balances and expiration dates across programs. You can get alerts when your miles are close to expiring, so you have time to act. This is useful if you collect points in multiple loyalty programs.
In addition, AwardHack keeps a live exchange rate for your miles. Every balance you track gets an estimated worth in dollars, based on a benchmark cents-per-point (CPP) value for that program, and the dashboard adds it all up into a total net worth.
On our account, 147,032 Flying Blue miles show an estimated worth of $3,175.89 at a benchmark 2.16 CPP.

That number changes how you redeem. When AwardFares shows you a seat for 60,000 miles, the benchmark tells you whether the redemption beats the average value for that program or falls short of it. The companion tools (Points vs Cash and the Redemption Tracker) close the loop: compare paying with points against paying cash before you book, and record the value you actually got afterwards.
There's plenty more in the toolkit
Card recommendations that respect different bank rules, lounge finders covering 2,600+ lounges, elite status calculators, a visa checker, and an award release calendar.
Why AwardFares + AwardHack Is a Killer Combo
AwardFares handles the real seats ready to be booked. AwardHack handles the crucial information around the booking, which is key to making the most informed decisions.
| AwardFares | AwardHack | |
|---|---|---|
| Core question | Is the seat there? | Everything before and after the booking |
| What it does | Live, bookable award-seat search across 17+ programs and 150+ airlines, with Timeline, Calendar and Map views, plus Live and Flex alerts | Award price comparison across 20+ programs; points, benefit, certificate and card tracking; transfer bonuses; valuations |
| Answers | “There’s Business to Tokyo on 12 March for 60k Flying Blue miles” | “Virgin Atlantic is the sweet spot for that route. Transfer from Amex now, there’s a 25% bonus, so 48k” |
| Strength | Finding real availability, fast | Making sure you can pay for and optimize the booking |
Used together, the process is a simple five-step loop:
- Earn: AwardHack’s card tools make sure you use the card that earns the right transferable points.
- Organize: AwardHack’s trackers keep your balances, credits, and certificates visible and valid.
- Price: the Award Flight Pricer tells you what the route should cost and which programs to search.
- Find: AwardFares finds the live, bookable seat in seconds.
- Book: AwardHack’s transfer tools tell you the cheapest way to pay for that exact seat, and whether to transfer points now or wait a week.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the AwardFares member offer and how do I claim it?
Gold members get AwardHack Pro at $4.99/mo for 3 months. Diamond members get it free for 3 months. After that it’s $9.99/mo, cancel anytime, and Pro stays active until the end of your billing period. Claim at awardfares.com/awardhack by 30 September 2026.
What is AwardHack Pro and what does it cost normally?
AwardHack Pro is the paid plan. It removes the free tier’s 2-item tracking limit and unlocks unlimited tracking, unlimited Award Flight Pricer searches, the full Card Engine, live map refresh, priority support, and early access to new tools. It normally costs $9.99/month or $79.99/year (about $6.66/mo).
Does AwardHack replace AwardFares?
No. They work together, they don’t compete. AwardFares is a live award-seat search engine showing real, bookable availability. AwardHack prices routes and tracks your points, cards, benefits, and transfers around that search. You use both together.
Is AwardHack the same as AwardHacker?
No. AwardHacker was the old award-chart calculator that shut down in March 2026. AwardHack is a separate, active platform of 50+ tools. See our AwardHacker write-up for the history.
Does AwardHack need my bank login?
No. AwardHack is fully manual by design: no bank logins or integrations. You enter your balances and cards yourself, so no financial details are shared. There’s also a free tier, so you can try it without paying anything.
Which AwardHack tools should I try first?
Start with the Award Flight Pricer (know what a route should cost and which program to use before you search on AwardFares) and the Benefits Tracker (never miss the card credits that offset your annual fees). Then the transfer tools, which lower the point cost of the exact seats you find.
What does the free AwardHack plan include?
Public calculators and maps, plus manual tracking limited to 2 items per tool. It’s a real free tier, but travelers with several programs reach the 2-item limit quickly, which is usually when people upgrade to Pro.
