What is Royal Orchid Plus?
Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) is the frequent flyer program of Thai Airways, a member of the Star Alliance network. ROP members can earn and redeem miles across Thai Airways and its Star Alliance partners, providing extensive global coverage. The program offers various benefits, including award flights, upgrades, and access to premium services for elite members.
Key changes to Royal Orchid Plus in 2025
- One Million Award Seats Released: Thai Airways released one million award seats for travel starting January 1, 2025. Bookings were available until November 21, 2024, exclusively for ROP members.
- Buy Tickets with Miles Promotion: From March 1 to September 30, 2025, ROP members can purchase Royal Silk Class and Royal First Class tickets with miles for selected destinations departing from Bangkok.
- Extended Miles Validity: Miles expiring in 2023 were extended by 9 to 12 months, depending on the original expiry quarter.
