Recently Found Award Flights with United MileagePlus
Find award flights with United MileagePlus miles
Use United MileagePlus award search to find flights on United and partner airlines offered through MileagePlus. Start with your route and travel dates, then compare cabins and available seats.
Keep the program and airline separate: you use MileagePlus miles to book, while United, EVA Air or another partner operates the flight. Finding a seat in another loyalty program does not confirm that MileagePlus can book it.
Award searches worth comparing
Sign in with an AwardFares Gold or Diamond plan to use the airline and cabin filters in these links, then add the dates you can travel.
- United to London: Newark to London Heathrow in Business Class. Compare departure dates and try the Saver filter. If your preferred day has a higher price, check whether moving the trip is worth the mileage savings.
- EVA Air to Taipei: Los Angeles or San Francisco to Taipei in Business Class. Compare both departure airports for partner seats available through MileagePlus. Include any separate flight to California in the total trip cost.
- Turkish Airlines to Istanbul: JFK or Newark to Istanbul in Business Class. If you are continuing beyond Istanbul, search the complete journey too. Availability on the longest flight is only part of the trip.
For the South Pacific, you can also look for Air New Zealand Business Class through MileagePlus. Select your route before comparing dates.
Is there a United MileagePlus award chart?
United does not publish a fixed award chart. The miles required depend on the flight and the quote available when you book. Treat old United award tables and example prices as references, not prices you are entitled to find.
| What you find | What to check next |
|---|---|
| A United Saver award | Confirm your dates, cabin and traveler count. Saver availability is limited. |
| A higher priced United award | Compare nearby dates and the cash fare before spending extra miles. |
| A partner award | Confirm the partner has released seats to MileagePlus and check the complete itinerary. |
For a concrete example, our August 2026 MileagePlus searches found a United nonstop from Newark to London in Business Class for 80,000 miles on one date, while partner connections started at 88,000 on other dates. Both were per person, each way, before taxes. The guide includes the results so you can see why checking the date and operating airline matters.
Why can my price on United be different?
Your account can matter. Eligible United cardmembers have access to discounted award pricing and expanded Saver availability. Sign in to your own MileagePlus account to check the price and seats you can book. AwardFares helps you find options, but your personal United benefits may change the final quote.
Award tickets also have taxes and fees. Compare the miles and the cash total with a paid ticket you would actually buy. A very expensive cash fare does not automatically make an award good value if you would choose a cheaper route instead.
Use the United award value calculator in our guide with your actual quote. It compares the cash fare, award fees and miles required; it does not predict United's award price.
How to search United awards with AwardFares
- Select United MileagePlus and your airports. Add your dates, cabin and number of travelers. If you can use two departure airports, include both.
- Compare the results. Use the Saver filter to narrow the search when it helps. Remove it to see other award options if your dates have no suitable Saver seats.
- Inspect the connection. Check each flight's cabin and travel time. For a trip advertised in Business Class, make sure the flight where you want the better seat is actually in that cabin.
- Track or book. Gold and Diamond include live searches and alerts. Set an alert if you need more options, or confirm and book through United with your MileagePlus miles.
Before transferring points, check the exact itinerary for everyone traveling on United. An alert or a search result helps you find seats; it does not hold them.
Questions about MileagePlus award flights
Does Saver mean I can book the same seat with another program?
No. Some United awards are available only to eligible MileagePlus members. Partner programs can have different inventory and prices. If you want to pay with another supported program, search that program directly rather than relying on a United result.
Why does searching for two travelers change the results?
A flight may have only one seat at the price or in the cabin you want. Search for the whole party and confirm the total on United. Two separate searches for one traveler do not prove that two seats are available together.
What if the individual flights show seats but the connection does not?
Search the full origin and destination. Airlines can make a connection available differently from its individual flights. Do not add the prices of separate results and assume United will issue them as one ticket.
