Atmos Rewards September Deals and Alaska's New Europe Routes

Atmos Rewards has six destinations on offer for September’s Members Day, while Alaska Airlines is adding nonstop flights from Seattle to Athens and Paris next spring. There is also a new Main Cabin menu from September 2.

Let’s start with the sale, because the booking window closes on September 5, 2026. But keep the two Athens announcements separate: the discounted travel dates are in winter, before Alaska’s new nonstop begins. Searching the right destination with the wrong dates could mean missing the offer entirely.

Our AwardFares searches show the advertised 20,000 point Economy seats to Haneda, plus Economy and Business Class availability on both new Europe routes. Business Class is expensive in all three examples, though. Below, you can see the dates, seat counts, and points prices before trying your own search.

Atmos Members Day: September’s Global Getaways

The September Members Day announcement lists these starting prices. Book by September 5, 2026 for travel from January 15 to March 8, 2027, except Tokyo, which has an earlier travel window.

These are Alaska’s advertised starting prices. Our Haneda screenshots below show the 20,000 point price. The departure airport, date, and available flights determine the quote for your trip. Check the cabin, points, taxes, fees, and current Global Getaways terms before booking.

Honolulu to Haneda: 20,000 Points in Economy

The Honolulu to Haneda results in AwardFares show nonstop Economy flights at 20,000 Atmos points per person, one way, matching the advertised price. We see wide award space open. The same Economy price appears later in the year as well (October).

Business Class is available too, but the prices we’ve seen range from 120,000 to 200,000 points one way, or six to ten times the Economy price. I’d compare those cabins before booking, particularly if you need more than one seat. The lowest Business price does not always have enough seats for everyone: AS831 on October 19 shows just one at 120,000 points.

The 20,000 point Economy price also appears in October. Business Class requires substantially more points, with fewer seats shown.

All screenshot prices in this post are per person, one way, before taxes and fees. Refresh your dates and confirm the final total with Alaska before booking.

Keep HND selected if you want Haneda. A general Tokyo (TYO) search may also include Narita, which is a different airport. If you are starting on the mainland, compare a complete itinerary from your home airport before considering separate tickets through Honolulu. A lower price for one flight does not necessarily make the whole trip cheaper.

Taipei and London: Two More Sale Searches to Try

For winter travel, try Los Angeles to Taipei or New York JFK to London Heathrow from January 15 to 28, 2027. These are suggested searches, not confirmed sale prices from those airports. Leave the airline filter open initially, so you can compare partner flights as well.

For Taipei, compare the points price with the stops and total travel time. For London, check the full cash portion with Alaska, since taxes and carrier fees can make a large difference. Choose the number of people traveling before comparing dates in Timeline View. The initial view can include earlier searches. With live search access, refresh the dates you can use, then sort the results by Economy price.

You can create a free AwardFares account to preview existing availability. Gold and Diamond include live searches, so you can check current results across the dates that work for you. For a sale with a short booking window, I would search those dates directly rather than wait for an Alert.

Alaska’s New Seattle Flights to Athens and Paris

Alaska’s Athens and Paris announcement adds two seasonal routes for May through October 2027. Both will use the Boeing 787-9, with flat bed Business Class Suites.

The first return flights leave Athens on May 13 and Paris on May 26. Tickets went on sale on August 20, 2026. The introductory cash fare offer in that announcement ended on August 26, so it is not a current deal.

These additions build on Alaska’s larger fleet plans. For award searches, the useful distinction is that these are flights operated by Alaska itself, rather than partner connections booked with Atmos points.

AwardFares already shows award availability on both routes. The screenshots below include Economy and Business Class seats, but the points prices are very different:

These are the prices in the visible results, not the full range across every travel date. All are Atmos points per person, one way, before taxes and fees. Paris costs less than Athens in these examples, but neither route is cheap in Business Class. At those prices, I’d compare other dates and connecting options before spending the points.

Athens: The Winter Deal Is Not the New Summer Nonstop

The Global Getaways travel period finishes before the Seattle route starts. To explore the winter offer, use an Atmos search to Athens, add your home airport, and allow connections.

For Alaska’s new nonstop, open Seattle to Athens and select Alaska Airlines and nonstop. Our Timeline shows availability from the May 12 launch onward, with both Economy and Business Class seats on several later departures. May 26, for example, shows nine seats in each cabin.

The result list is sorted by Business Class price. May 23 and May 30 show two Business seats at 250,000 points each, while June 2 shows one at the same price. Other visible May departures cost 325,000 points. These are nonstop AS196 flights on the Boeing 787-9.

Economy needs far fewer points here. On May 23, for example, the list shows 42,500 points in Economy with six seats, compared with 250,000 in Business Class. That is the comparison I’d make before deciding whether the suite is worth the difference.

With only three flights a week planned, give the search more than one possible departure date. A blank day may be a day the flight does not operate, rather than a flight with no award seats.

Paris: Business Class Seats at 175,000 Points

The Seattle to Charles de Gaulle search shows availability across many dates from late May into July. The Timeline has Alaska Airlines selected, and the result list below confirms nonstop AS136 flights on the Boeing 787-9. Add the nonstop filter when you run your own search to exclude any connections.

Economy ranges from 37,500 to 55,000 points. Business starts at 175,000 points.

For two people, 175,000 points each means 350,000 points for the outbound flight alone, before taxes and fees. The seats are there in these results, but I would not treat that as a bargain just because the route is new.

Set an Alert for a Price You Would Actually Pay

For these 2027 routes, a Live Alert can help if the current prices are too high. Save the dates you can travel, Business Class, your passenger count, and a maximum points price. That way, a result at 250,000 or 325,000 points will not match an Alert with a lower limit.

AwardFares checks regularly and notifies you when it finds a match. Alerts are included with Gold and Diamond, and each combination of program, route, and date counts separately. There is no guarantee that cheaper seats will appear, so keep other routes or cabins in mind if your dates are fixed.

Alaska’s September Menu: Check Your Flight Before Ordering

Alaska’s September menu update is for domestic Main Cabin, including Hawaii routes. The new options are available to preorder for flights from September 2, 2026. It is not the Business Class menu for the new Europe flights.

The additions include an Ellenos yogurt breakfast plate, two breakfast sandwiches, an Evergreens spicy kale Caesar salad, a tamari tofu bowl, and a chicken salad croissant. There is also a green chicken curry for Hawaii flights. The sandwich offered depends on the direction of travel, and hot breakfast options are available on most flights over 1,100 miles.

After booking, check the menu and price for your actual flight in the Alaska Hawaiian app. The preorder window opens 14 days before departure and closes about 20 hours before takeoff. A September menu announcement is not a promise of the same meal on a flight next summer.

Where I’d Start

If your dates fit the sale, I’d check the 20,000 point Haneda flights first, before the September 5 booking deadline. For Athens and Paris, the new nonstops already have seats showing, but I’d compare Economy with Business Class and set a price limit before committing the points.
