Atmos Rewards Calculator (2026): Points & Status Points

Use the Atmos Rewards Calculator below to estimate how many redeemable points and status points you can earn. Add paid flights, award flights, credit-card spending, hotels, cruises, rental cars, rideshare and everyday partners in one plan.

This goes beyond a basic flight calculator. It covers Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and 32 partner airlines, including different booking channels and fare classes. Every supported result shows the formula, explains the rule in simple language and links to the official source.

Atmos Rewards Calculator

Travel and booking dates are optional. Add them for the most precise result. If you leave either one blank, the calculator assumes today for that date. This may give you a lower estimate than what you actually earn.

    What the Calculator Covers

    The calculator combines two balances that serve different purposes:

    • Atmos points are redeemable points you can spend on award travel.
    • Status points qualify you for Atmos Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium during a calendar year.

    You can add:

    • paid Alaska and Hawaiian flights, including the 2026 Saver transition;
    • paid partner flights using the applicable booking channel, cabin and booking class;
    • award flights booked with Atmos points;
    • five current Atmos or Hawaiian co-branded credit cards;
    • hotels, cruises, Avis, Budget, Lyft, shopping, dining and other published partners; and
    • a manual line item for a promotion or activity that cannot be verified from a fixed public rate.

    What This Calculator Does

    This is an earnings calculator. It estimates the points you can earn. It does not calculate the price of an award ticket. To see what a balance can buy, read our Atmos Rewards sweet spots. For award charts, program benefits and elite perks, use the complete Atmos Rewards guide.

    How to Use It

    1. Add each flight segment separately and enter its flown distance in miles.
    2. Choose whether it is a paid ticket or an award booked with Atmos points.
    3. For a paid flight, select the airline, booking channel, travel date, cabin and booking class shown on your ticket.
    4. Add eligible annual card spend by category. Opt into a relationship bonus, anniversary bonus or welcome offer only when it applies to your account.
    5. Add non-flight partner activity using the fixed quantity or live points quote requested by the form.
    6. Enter an email address to unlock the totals, tier progress and a line-by-line breakdown. We will also email you a copy.

    For connecting itineraries, calculate every segment separately. Partner earning charts apply to the distance and booking class of each individual flight, not the itinerary’s total origin-to-destination distance.

    Current Atmos Status Levels and Milestones

    These are the status thresholds the calculator uses for the 2026 calendar year:

    Atmos tier Status points required oneworld tier
    Atmos Silver 20,000 Ruby
    Atmos Gold 40,000 Sapphire
    Atmos Platinum 80,000 Emerald
    Atmos Titanium 135,000 Emerald

    Atmos also has milestone choices at 10,000, 30,000, 55,000, 95,000, 125,000, 150,000, 200,000 and 250,000 status points. Reaching a milestone unlocks a choice of benefits; the milestone itself does not automatically add points to the calculator total. See Alaska’s official status-points guide.

    Alaska and Hawaiian Flight Earning Rules

    For current paid Alaska- and Hawaiian-operated flights, earnings are distance-based. The calculator separates:

    • base redeemable points;
    • any fare-class bonus;
    • status points; and
    • an elite bonus, which applies to base flight points rather than the fare-class bonus.

    Eligible non-Saver segments receive a 500-mile minimum. Saver fares do not receive that minimum.

    The 2026 Saver cutoff dates

    The booking date matters for Saver travel from August 1, 2026 onward:

    Saver travel and booking date Atmos points Status points
    Travel through July 31, 2026 30% of actual distance 30% of actual distance
    Travel August 1, 2026 or later; booked before June 11, 2026 30% of actual distance 30% of actual distance
    Travel August 1, 2026 or later; booked June 11, 2026 or later 0 0

    That is why the calculator asks for both dates when they can change the result. The transition follows Alaska’s current Saver-fare rules.

    Suppose an eligible Alaska economy segment has an actual distance of 2,500 miles, earns 100% base points and has no fare or elite bonus:

    • Redeemable points: 2,500 × 100% = 2,500 Atmos points
    • Status points: 2,500 × 100% = 2,500 status points

    If the flight is shorter than 500 miles and is an eligible non-Saver fare, the calculator uses 500 miles as the earning distance for that segment.

    Award Flights Earn Status Points

    An award ticket booked with Atmos points earns 1 status point per mile flown, including travel on eligible global partners. It does not earn additional redeemable points.

    For example, an Atmos award itinerary with two segments of 2,400 and 2,813 miles produces:

    • Redeemable points: 0
    • Status points: 2,400 + 2,813 = 5,213

    Add the segments separately so the record matches the itinerary. This rule is stated on Alaska’s official airline award charts.

    Hainan Award Booking Advisory

    Alaska has temporarily stopped new Hainan Airlines award bookings because many bookings were failing. You can still use the calculator for an existing ticketed Hainan award. The result will show the booking limitation and link to Alaska’s live Hainan notice.

    Why the Partner Booking Channel Matters

    The same partner flight can earn differently depending on where it was booked. A flight purchased through Alaska or Hawaiian may use the current Atmos booking-channel chart, while a ticket purchased from the operating airline can use that airline’s own fare-class table.

    The calculator contains current entries for 34 airlines in total and airline-specific partner-site charts wherever Atmos publishes a usable fixed table. It also handles important exceptions—for example, partner-site STARLUX flights currently earn redeemable points but no status points. When an official chart is missing or unusable, the calculator labels the item for manual verification instead of inventing a rate.

    Partner-flight example

    A 3,000-mile British Airways flight booked outside Alaska/Hawaiian in Business booking class J, C or D currently earns:

    • Base points: 3,000 × 100% = 3,000
    • Fare-class bonus: 3,000 × 250% = 7,500
    • Total redeemable points: 10,500
    • Status points: 3,000 × 250% = 7,500

    The calculator selects the table from the airline, booking channel and booking class you enter. You can inspect the formula and Alaska’s source link in the result.

    Credit Cards and Other Partners

    The card section models the current Atmos Rewards Ascent, Summit and Business Visa cards plus the Hawaiian personal and business Mastercards. Spend categories are calculated separately because their redeemable multipliers differ, while qualifying status points are based on card spend:

    • Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite: 1 status point per $2 of eligible spend.
    • Other supported co-branded cards: 1 status point per $3 of eligible spend.
    • Summit anniversary choice: 10,000 status points when the cardholder is eligible and selects it.

    Public welcome offers can change frequently and may be targeted. The calculator never adds one automatically; enter the offer only if you have confirmed its terms and completed the requirements.

    For variable partners such as Rocketmiles, shopping and dining, enter the points shown in your live quote or account activity. This is more accurate than applying an average that may not match your booking, merchant or promotion.

    Check How Every Result Was Calculated

    Every supported result includes a small How this was calculated section with:

    • the input and formula used;
    • a plain-language explanation of the applicable earning rule;
    • a link to the official Alaska, Hawaiian, bank or partner source; and
    • a quick Report a problem link with the relevant result already included for our support team.

    Turn Your Projected Balance Into a Bookable Trip

    Knowing your likely balance is useful. The next step is finding a flight you can book with those points.

    AwardFares searches Atmos award availability across many dates and airports. You can use Timeline View to compare a full month, filter by airline and cabin, check the number of available seats and set an alert when the flight you want is not available.

    A simple process is:

    1. Use this calculator to estimate your future Atmos balance.
    2. Search Atmos award availability with AwardFares and compare the available flights with your balance.
    3. Use filters to focus on the cabin, airline, stops and price you want.
    4. If there is no suitable flight, create a Live Alert or Flex Alert and let AwardFares continue searching.
    5. When you find a suitable seat, complete the booking with the airline.

    Find a Flight for Your Projected Balance

    Your points only become useful when you can find an available seat. Search Atmos award availability with AwardFares, compare dates and airlines, or create an alert when the flight you want is not available.

    AwardFares has helped more than 150,000 travelers search live, bookable award availability without checking the Atmos Rewards portal one date at a time. AwardFares uses fresh, real-time search results and is funded by subscriptions, with no ads, affiliate links or sponsored search results.

    How We Verify and Update the Calculator

    We built the calculator from primary sources published by Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, the card issuers and current program partners. We record the effective dates for each supported rule so the calculator can select the correct rate for the activity you enter.

    If a partner publishes a variable rate, the calculator asks for the current quote instead of using an average. If a public rule is incomplete or cannot be verified, the calculator explains the limitation and offers a manual entry. It does not invent a rate.

    We also test common cases and important cutoff points, including short flights, Saver dates, partner booking channels, older travel dates, card spending limits, award flights and status thresholds.

    Primary sources used for the current version include:

    Why Your Posted Total May Differ

    The calculator rounds each earning component to the nearest whole point. Official sources publish earning rates, but they do not state one universal posting-rounding method. Your account activity can sometimes differ by one point. Promotions, ticketing exceptions and later account adjustments can also change the final posted total.

    Last Verified: July 16, 2026

    Rules were last checked against primary sources on July 16, 2026. The calculator uses the current distance-based flight rules. Alaska has announced choice-based earning for later in 2026, but that system is not active in this calculator until Alaska launches it and publishes the final operating rules.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    How many Atmos points will I earn for a flight?

    Enter each flight segment’s distance, ticket type, airline and travel date. For a paid flight, also enter the booking channel, cabin and booking class. The calculator applies the matching current rule and shows both redeemable Atmos points and status points.

    Is this an Alaska Airlines mileage calculator?

    Yes. It calculates eligible Alaska-operated paid flights credited to Atmos Rewards, including fare-class and elite bonuses, the 500-mile minimum and the 2026 Saver transition. It also supports Atmos award travel, Hawaiian flights and current partner charts.

    What is the difference between Atmos points and status points?

    Atmos points are redeemable for award travel. Status points qualify a member for Atmos elite tiers and milestones during the calendar year. The calculator tracks the two totals separately because an activity can earn one, both or neither.

    Do Atmos award flights earn status points?

    Yes. Award flights booked with Atmos points earn 1 status point per mile flown, including eligible global-partner travel, but they earn no additional redeemable Atmos points. Add each segment separately.

    Do Saver fares earn Atmos points in 2026?

    Saver fares earn 30% of actual distance for travel through July 31, 2026. For travel from August 1 onward, only Saver tickets booked before June 11, 2026 retain that 30% rate; tickets booked on or after June 11 earn zero points and zero status points.

    Can I calculate Atmos earnings on partner airlines?

    Yes. Select the operating airline and where the ticket was booked, then enter the cabin and booking class requested. The calculator uses airline-specific fare-class charts and labels unsupported or unverifiable cases for manual review.

    How do Atmos credit cards earn status points?

    In 2026, the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite earns 1 status point per $2 of eligible spend. The other supported Atmos and Hawaiian co-branded cards earn 1 status point per $3 of eligible spend. Card purchase multipliers determine redeemable points separately.

    Does the calculator include welcome offers and promotions?

    Only when you enter them manually and confirm they apply to you. Welcome and targeted offers change frequently, so the calculator never assumes that a public offer belongs to your account.

    Has choice-based Atmos earning launched?

    Not yet as of July 16, 2026. Alaska says members will be able to choose among distance-, spend- and segment-based earning later in 2026. Until a launch date and final rules are published, this calculator uses the current live earning method.

    Do Atmos Rewards points expire?

    Atmos points do not expire, although Alaska may close an account after extended inactivity under the program terms. Elite qualification and status points operate on calendar-year rules.
