What's New With Qantas Frequent Flyer in 2025?
- Increased Reward Seat Availability. In 2025, Qantas is adding up to 1 million more Classic Reward seats, including in premium cabins, through partnerships with airlines such as Finnair, Air France, KLM, Iberia, and Hawaiian Airlines.
- Boosted Points Earning on Domestic Flights. Starting July 2025, members will earn up to 25% more Qantas Points on base earn rates for Qantas domestic flights. Additionally, the earn cap for tiered members traveling in premium cabins will be removed, allowing for greater points accumulation.
- Lower Cost Rewards with Jetstar: For the first time, members can use Qantas Points to upgrade to Business on Jetstar international flights. This coincides with a major revamp of Jetstar’s Boeing 787 Dreamliners, doubling the fleet’s business cabin capacity.
- Increased Points Required for Redemptions: From August 2025, the points required for Classic Flight Rewards and Classic Upgrade Rewards will increase.
