Information about Air France

Air France (AF) is the flag carrier of France and a leading global airline renowned for its extensive network and high-quality service. As a member of the SkyTeam alliance, Air France connects travelers to a vast array of destinations worldwide, offering seamless travel with partner airlines. Frequent flyers benefit significantly from the Flying Blue loyalty program, which allows passengers to earn and redeem miles across a wide range of flights and services. Flying Blue offers elite status tiers—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—that provide valuable perks such as priority boarding, baggage handling, and access to exclusive lounges.

The airline's primary hub is Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), with a secondary hub at Paris Orly Airport (ORY). Air France operates major international routes connecting Paris to destinations such as New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), Tokyo (NRT), Hong Kong (HKG), and São Paulo (GRU). Additionally, its European network is robust, featuring key routes to London (LHR), Amsterdam (AMS), and Frankfurt (FRA).

In 2024, Air France expanded its global reach by introducing new routes for the winter 2024-2025 season. Notably, the airline commenced flights to Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, operating three times a week from October 28, 2024, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This addition marked Air France's fifth destination in Brazil, enhancing connectivity in South America. Furthermore, the airline launched a new non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Manila, Philippines, starting December 7, 2024, with three weekly flights, strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia.

Looking ahead to 2025, Air France announced plans to introduce a new La Première first-class cabin in March 2025. This upgrade aims to offer passengers an enhanced luxury experience, featuring spacious suites with three modular configurations: a seat, a sofa, and a fully flat bed. The new cabins will be available on select Boeing 777 aircraft, serving destinations including Dubai, Tokyo, Singapore, São Paulo, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.
