Recently Found Award Flights with SAS EuroBonus
What is SAS EuroBonus?
SAS EuroBonus is the loyalty program of Scandinavian Airlines. You can use Bonus points for award flights on SAS and participating partners. SAS joined SkyTeam in September 2024; older references to its Star Alliance membership do not describe the current program.
Start with SAS EuroBonus award search to compare flights offered through EuroBonus. Keep the program selected even when Air France, KLM or another partner operates the trip.
Search SAS and SkyTeam award flights
Choose your route, travel dates, cabin and number of travelers. AwardFares Gold and Diamond plans include live searches and alerts, as well as the airline and cabin filters in these examples.
- SAS Business Class from Copenhagen to New York includes JFK and Newark. Check which airport suits your plans.
- Air France and KLM Business Class from Paris or Amsterdam to Buenos Aires compares partner options using EuroBonus points. Include any flight needed to reach the European departure airport.
Search your complete journey before booking separate flights. Check connections, total travel time and the cabin confirmed by SAS. An award shown through another loyalty program is not proof that EuroBonus can book it.
Trips we booked with EuroBonus points
Our team uses EuroBonus for SAS flights and partner trips. These reports show what we booked, how we found the seats and what the flights were like. Prices describe those bookings, including any card benefits used; check the current award tables and your own eligibility before planning around them.
- SAS Business Class to Nice: Richard booked a return trip from Stockholm for 30,000 points plus approximately €52 in taxes using Fly Premium (approximate currency conversion). His 2025 SAS European Business Class review covers four flights and the differences in service between them.
- KLM Business Class within South America: Germán booked Buenos Aires to Santiago and back for 30,000 points plus about 1,500 SEK in taxes. The 2025 KLM flight report shows the cabin and experience on this short international route.
- Economy out, Business Class home: For a trip to Sweden, Germán combined Aerolíneas Argentinas and SAS via Madrid with KLM Business Class via Amsterdam on the return. The reports explain the complete booking, made before the December 2025 price increase with an SAS Amex 2 for 1 voucher.
- Aerolíneas Business Class to Miami: Germán's 2026 Buenos Aires to Miami report covers an award returning from Los Angeles via Salt Lake City and Mexico City with Delta and Aeroméxico. The complete EuroBonus booking cost 50,000 points plus 2,596 SEK per person with an SAS Amex 2 for 1 voucher. That was the price for the complete booking, including the return.
How many EuroBonus Points for a flight?
Check which type of booking you are comparing:
| Booking | What determines the quote |
|---|---|
| SAS award flight | The applicable award price and remaining award seats |
| Regular SAS ticket paid with points | The regular ticket and the points payment option offered |
| Partner award flight | The current partner chart, route, cabin and airline rules |
The SAS award chart, valid from December 1, 2025, lists one direction SAS awards between Nordic+ and Asia or North America at 30,000 points in Economy Bonus, 45,000 in Premium Bonus and 60,000 in Business Bonus. Taxes and fees are additional, and seats at those fixed prices are limited.
SAS explains Points + Cash separately from award seats. A regular ticket available for points does not mean a lower priced award seat is available.
The partner award tables quote return prices. Standard one direction partner awards cost 60% of the return amount, and some airlines have higher points requirements. Taxes and booking fees are additional. Check the rules for your airline and complete itinerary instead of applying an old generic range.
How much are SAS EuroBonus points worth?
Compare a cash ticket you would actually buy with the award's points and cash charges. Subtract the award charges from the paid fare, then divide by the points required. Include any separate flight or overnight stay needed to reach the award's departure airport.
For example, a hypothetical €1,200 ticket booked for 60,000 points plus €240 gives €960 of travel value from the points, or 1.6 euro cents per point. Use your own fare and charges to calculate what a redemption is worth to you.
A voucher or eligible card benefit can change that calculation. Confirm its current conditions and your eligibility in your own account; an ordinary search result does not guarantee a voucher price.
Search, track and book EuroBonus awards
You can search SAS and available partner awards, compare dates and track a route with AwardFares alerts. Complete the booking through SAS, confirming the points, charges and seats for everyone traveling.
Booking windows vary by airline. A release date tells you when searching may become possible, not whether seats will remain available. If your preferred flight is missing, compare another date or track the trip instead of assuming every partner releases seats on the same schedule.
Our EuroBonus guide explains the wider program. For planning ahead, see our SAS award release guide, then check current availability for your own dates.
