JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) is the frequent flyer program of Japan Airlines, a member of the oneworld alliance. What's new with JAL Mileage Bank in 2026?
- Award Chart Devaluation (Effective June 10, 2025): JAL implemented major award price increases — First Class awards rose by up to 80%, with Business and Premium Economy also seeing significant hikes. The tables below reflect these current rates.
- Award Ticket PLUS Now Live: The new dynamic pricing tier, Award Ticket PLUS, is now available — allowing members to book award seats at higher mileage costs when standard saver seats are unavailable. This option does not apply to First Class.
- Extended Mileage Validity: Miles earned from January 2025 onwards have an extended validity of five years (up from three). Higher-status members may enjoy unlimited mileage validity.
- One-Time Password Security: From April 10, 2025, a one-time password (OTP) system is required when booking JAL domestic and international award tickets, adding a layer of account security.
